I worked on my first album art project for a musician, my bestie, Ladyhawke, and that opened up a new career path for me. I have since Art Directed and/or created the artwork for upwards of 25 record covers and received a Grammy nomination for the album package (cover art, inlays, booklet etc) I created for Whispers by British musician Passenger.

I enjoyed anything artistic in my youth, it wasn't until I was on maternity leave from my preschool teaching job that I used my daughter's nap time to start doodling flowers. It grew from there and I decided not to return to teaching and instead become a self-employed artist - and I have never looked back!

Not your average sports tournament… this one included speed puzzling 🧩🔥 Earlier this month, PieceHouse was proud to sponsor the Speed Puzzle events at the 2026 Masters Games in Dunedin — the country’s largest annual multi-sport event. Each year, the Games bring together competitors from across New Zealand to compete in a wide range of sports, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy the atmosphere of friendly competition. And yes — competitive puzzling is officially a sport.

This September, the New Zealand Jigsaw Puzzle Association is hosting Piece & Quiet — a weekend retreat created especially for people who love puzzles. We’re proud to be sponsoring the retreat and supporting the wider puzzle community.
